Ngatea is the Hub of the Hauraki Plains, situated on State Highway 2 about 40 minutes drive from Auckland and Hamilton.
Located in the middle of a large flat Dairy farming community, Ngatea offers a range of outdoor activities such as the new Bike Rail Trail, bush walks, fishing, and hunting.
Ngatea is a two appliance station with one pump appliance and one pump/rescue tender. The station acts as back-up to Turua, Thames and Paeroa.
